THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT
“He who counts the stars and calls them by their names, is in no danger of forgetting His own children. He knows your case as thoroughly as if you were the only creature He ever made, or the only saint He ever loved.”

You are absolutely not a number to God but every hair in your head is absolutely numbered! Perhaps nothing speaks louder of the love that God has for each and every individual child, than His keeping a constant count of each hair your head. If that is not mind boggling enough, David said that, “The thoughts that our Father has about us outnumber the sand of the sea!” (Ps. 139:18)
I am writing to someone today that feels that you are more of a tolerated stepchild than the apple of your Heavenly Father’s eye! I can assure you, that His love for you is immeasurable! You are a very precious treasure to Him, regardless of how you may feel about yourself. You think about your sins, Your Father thinks about the blood Jesus shed to wash away your sins! You may say, “You don’t understand my perplexity and deep anguish!” Yes, you’re right, I don’t! What I do understand is that there is a comfort for any and every kind of grief, burden, hardship or distress! There is no discomfort, that God will not bring His comfort to. How can I say that? 2Cor. 1:3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. He’s the God of all comfort, that’s how! My question to you is, “Will you now just receive the comfort He’s offering you, with a thankful heart?” Why don’t you just climb up in His lap and let Him wrap you up in the warm blanket of His great love for you, right now?
