In the beginning, Man Created God ~ Joey Lawsin.
As a Christian, we can blow off Joey’s quote with a hardy chuckle saying, “Mr. Lawsin, you’ll find out who created who!” Yet the vast majority of the planet is in agreement with Joey and it is no laughing matter! Even those who deny they agree with Joey, agree with him in their world view! I say thIs because, most of the world creates God to be someone who is in agreement with the way they live their lives. In other words; God is created to endorse and support their personal world view!
The Body of Christ must in unison, stand up and speak the truth of God’s word, because of God’s great love for the World! We are on the same mission as Jesus was. (Luke 19:10 "for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost." John 20:21 So Jesus said to them again, "Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.") Yet when Christians speak the soul saving truth, we are called haters! Let’s get something straight; a true follower of Jesus does not hate anyone! We are not the haters, we are the lovers and we only share the truth, not to judge, but because God loves them all and wants none of them to perish! (2Pet. 3:9)
As this world slides deeper into more and more gross darkness, the light of the Gospel shines brighter in the face of those that despise Jesus, the Light of the World. People that embrace the darkness, are the true haters. God loves them, we love them but they hate Jesus and they hate us! The Humanist have their world view and we Christians have our world view. We must keep loving even though they keep hating and we must keep proclaiming while they keep threatening and raging against us! God help us hold fast to this: Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.
