By now, we are all familiar with the terms, “Counter Culture and Cancel Culture.” Now trending is: “Confusion Culture.” Yes! Today’s world is in the greatest throes of delusion, perhaps in the history of civilization! It is like the “gross darkness” that Isaiah spoke of in the 60th chapter.
Honestly, I have been so sickened by the everlasting spew of nonsense coming from the media, the propagators of propaganda! There is so much conflicting talk that no one seems to know who to trust.
What we don’t need right now is pulpiteers that tip-toe around the truth, who craft powder-puff speeches so as not to offend anyone!
Isaiah 56:10 His watchmen [are] blind, They are all ignorant; They [are] all dumb dogs, They cannot bark; Sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
Tell me what good is a watchdog, a sheep dog if you will, that does not bark! We don’t need nice, positive, politically correct sermons! We need truth to clear the cloud hovering over all humanity in this pandemic of confusion! What we need to see and see clearly, is Jesus Christ, the Way, THE TRUTH and the Life, the one full of grace and TRUTH! Preacher, give us Jesus, nothing more and nothing less! God forbid that we adjust Jesus to fit our modern culture. Give us the real Jesus, Who alone can adjust us and fit us for the coming judgment, for our God is a consuming fire!
O God, in Jesus name, restore the fire of truth to the pulpits that will set fire to those in the pews! May that fire burn away all confusion and leave us clearly seeing Jesus!
