THE ANCHOR THE ROCK & THE STORMY SEA

A man that’s not anchored to The Rock, is like a raft on a raging sea
He is tossed about to and fro, and he paddles hopelessly
This used to be my life, my friend till The Rock got a hold of me
He calmed the stormy sea, and He came and rescued me
He heard my dying plea, and He made the devil flee
He’s who I want to see, and He’s where I want to be
He set this captive free, and He saved a wretch like me

I am a life that Jesus has changed, and He has been changing my life since 1980. He has changed my heart about things, so many times. He has changed my impossible situations so many times. He has changed my attitude more times than I can count. I was on the highway to Hell, and He changed my course, and has pointed me to Heaven. He has helped me times without number. He has been the friend that sticks closer than a brother. He has been good when I did not deserve it. He has been faithful when I was not. I cannot help but praise Him! I can’t help but tell others about Him. He is the one that reached down with His long and merciful arm when was in a horrible pit of despair. His love lifted me up and out. I just came by today to tell you that what He has done for me, He will do for you! Just reach out to Him now, and He will answer you and place your feet on the solid rock, up and out of the storm! Hallelujah!
