CALLED BY GOD

Exodus 3:4 So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am."

In the same way God called Moses, He calls to you and I. He used a bush on fire and yet was not consumed by it, to draw his attention. He used the bush to turn his attention and then God caught Moses ear. Once God had his ear, He the began to tell Moses’ about his calling to deliver Israel.

God has done some pretty extreme things to get my attention over the years! He waits for us to “turn aside” to Him and then God begins to unfold His plan or His calling on our lives. Eph. 5:17 Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord [is]. Here is how we begin to understand God’s will for our lives: Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what [is] that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Your calling will become more and more obvious!

If you’re ready to turn aside from all that distracts and deters you from His calling, then He is ready to unfold His will, His plan for your life! Brace yourself, you’re really going to be amazed by what He will do through you!
