Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
— Mark 10:15

Isa 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine. 2 When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. 3 For I [am] the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

In the same way light overpowers darkness, the rising of Faith drives away Fear! I know about paralyzing fear! When I was 6 years old, a spirit of fear came to torment me. It stayed with me until God set me free at 23 years of age. When the lights went off, my eyes were wide open, I would be motionless and quiet as a corpse! I believed a hideous monster lived in my closet, and if I moved, he would pounce on me and tear me to shreds! I awakened morning after morning, as stiff as rigor mortis from the horrible fear!

My growing up years, to my early manhood, were filled with the embarrassing fear of the dark! Deliverance came one night when I had no choice but walk over a mile up a mountain, in total darkness. Suddenly, I heard rustling in the leaves to my right! My heart pounded louder than the rustling! I cried out to the Lord and then His voice said to me, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me!” Like a bucket of warm water pouring down over my head, fear was driven from me! It has never returned!

Friend, if you know the icy grip of fear, God wants you to know the glorious freedom that childlike faith brings! Simply take God at His Word, He cannot lie. If you are redeemed, you belong to Him. When you go through those terrifying places, like David declare, ”What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.” Psalm 56:3. When the darkness of fear tries to come in, renounce it by faith and Jesus name and the Father of Lights will banish all Fear! Have a fearless and Faith full day!

Every blessing!
