A LIFE LESSON FROM A FROG

“Two frogs fell into a tub of cream. One looked at the high sides of the tub which were too difficult to crawl over and said, “It is hopeless.” So he resigned himself to death, relaxed, and sank to the bottom. The other one determined to keep swimming as long as he could. “Something might happen,” he said. He kept kicking and churning, and finally he found himself on a solid platform of butter and jumped to safety.”
Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. NKJV
It happened so fast that I did not have time to take a deep breath. At fifteen years of age, my life was over. That’s what ran through my mind as I was wedged tightly up under a submerged log by the swift current! Without warning, my inner tube flipped in the swift river water. Down I went. I was in the jam of a lifetime! I remember thinking, “Well, this is what it feels like to drown and die!” I struggled with all of my might to get free, but the current was so powerful that I just could not get loose from my log jam! My three friends saw my tennis shoe floating down the river, and began to scream my name! I could hear them over the rushing water! I thought, “I am not ready to die”, and with all the strength I had left, with one final burst of energy, I broke free from that log! I jumped to the water’s surface and drew the deepest breath that I can ever remember! Here I am 47 years later!
There have been many times in my Christian life, that I all but lost hope. What else can you do in a hopeless situation, right? No! You believe the word of God, wholeheartedly! You don’t faint, you don’t quit, you don’t surrender, you never say die! You BELIEVE GOD! Whether you are in some kind of crisis, or serious health issue, or you are out of work and can’t seem to buy a job, or something you were fighting for, utterly failed, ( you fill in the blank ), whatever it may be, you fight, you don’t faint, you BELIEVE GOD! You stand on the promise that you will reap, you will overcome, you will be victorious, if you don’t lose heart!
Psalm 27:13 [I would have lost heart], [[[unless I had believed]]] That I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.NKJV
Cry out to your Heavenly Father, trust in His goodness, believe His promises, never say die, be courageous, be tenacious, be sure, God will come through for you in His perfect time, every time!
Every blessing!
