I AM HERE 5 0F 7
“This is the FIFTH of a seven part devotional series entitled: I AM HERE. The title is an acrostic. Today the letter “E” EMPOWERING PRESENCE. In these incredibly tumultuous times in which we are living, it is good to remind ourselves of these timely and timeless words of our Lord Jesus, Matt 28:20 ..and lo, I AM with you always, [even] to the end of the age. Amen.” It is my earnest and heartfelt prayer that this little series will comfort, strengthen and encourage every reader!”
2Tim 4:16 At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. 17 But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, so that the message might be preached fully through me, and [that] all the Gentiles might hear. Also I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. 18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve [me] for His heavenly kingdom. To Him [be] glory forever and ever. Amen!
If the time ever comes that everyone walks out on you because of your stand for Jesus, in that moment Jesus will walk in and take you by the hand. He will be there, at all times, to strengthen, empower and enable you to go on to fulfill your destiny! It is to be expected that the enemy will seek to weary and discourage anyone with an assignment from the Lord.
1John 3:8(b) .. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
When a follower of Jesus carries out his or her task, strongholds of Satan are destroyed! One of the Devil’s chiefest weapons against us is to make us believe that what we are doing for God, does not matter. Believe this! Whatever territory you take for God, God takes from the Devil! Souls being saved, backsliders restored and lives being made whole, are heavy losses to the kingdom of darkness! Your assignment, great or seemingly small, greatly matters to the Kingdom of God! Jesus is reaching out to you to strengthen and encourage you! Hold the line, stand your ground, fight another round! You are not alone! Jesus will empower you to overcome your feeling of discouragement and or abandonment. To be sure, no matter what others do, or don’t do, Jesus will stand with you and strengthen you to finish your course! Whether we can see Him or feel Him, if we keep running after Him, we will run right into His welcoming arms! A crown awaits you! It’s going to be worth it!
