THE TUNNEL OF TRANSITION

Isaiah 42:16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.

I believe that a lot of the time the baggage we must check at the passage way of the new thing God brings us to, is trusting in the way we have done things before. I have been through a few major transitions over my 41 year walk with the Lord. Some of the tunnels were shorter and had more light. A few have been dark, long and downrite terrifying! The Lord has faithfully brought me through them all, yet I would much prefer transition without the tunnel!

Dear reader, I can testify that God has a beautiful thing in mind for you, that will fit you like a glove, but the tunnel is necessary to bring you to total reliance upon Him alone. Where you are going, your baggage whatever it is, will only weigh you down and hinder you from the ministry He is calling you to! Leave it behind and step into the tunnel. That dark, scary tunnel will lead you to a beautiful place and you will bring glory to God! When you let go of baggage, Jesus will take you by the hand and escort you into the light of the new thing! It’s gonna be worth it! HALLELUJAH!
