COME OUT OF THE STORM

Oh, it is sad for a poor Christian to stand at the door of the promise, in the dark night of affliction, afraid to draw the latch, whereas he should then come boldly for shelter as a child into his father’s house.
— WILLIAM GURNALL

What a comforting thought! Even we as earthy fathers, would not lock our son or daughter outside in a thunderstorm. No, we would throw open the door and meet them with a towel and a blanket!

Eph. 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us

God is far more welcoming than any and all earthly fathers! He sacrificed His Son to have you near Him for eternity. If you trust Him, keep knocking and the door shall surely fling wide open! Call on the name of Jesus believing His love for you in spite of the storm in your life. The warmth of His loving presence awaits you!

Rom. 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Freely give us all things! Not some things or a lot of things... No ALL things!
All of these things, benefits and blessings of every kind, are bought with the precious blood of Christ! Brother, Sister in Christ, it is time for you to come out the storm! Come change your cold, wet clothes for a warm white robe and enjoy some fireside fellowship with the One who loves you beyond comprehension!

Every blessing!
