GROW IN GRACE
“Be easy on yourself for what you didn’t know back when you didn’t know it. God isn’t looking for encyclopedias, but children who are willing to learn and mature.”
2Pe 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him [be] the glory both now and forever. Amen.
Our spiritual growth, much like physical growth, is a lifelong process. Unfortunately for men, our noses and ears keep growing our entire life. Just a little not so fun fact.. Like Paul, we need this same cry in our hearts, “That I may know Him!” (Php 3:10) Our growing takes place through our knowing Him more and more!
Eph 4:15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ--
We need to share the truth with each other in the love of God. When we do, the iron sharpening iron process takes place and helps us to grow and mature in our Lord Jesus Christ. Growing up into Jesus in “all” things, is a tall order! Thanks be to God, He provides us with the precious Holy Spirit to abide with us forever! He comes along side us to lead us into all truth! O how wonderful is the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of Grace! He gives us all that pertains to life and godliness! Praise God, His marvelous grace can work wonders in a hungry heart. Are you hungry to know Jesus more? Grace to you!!
