THE POWER OF SURRENDER
“The greatness of a man’s power is the measure of his surrender.”
John 21:25 And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.
Here we read John the Apostle's final comment in his Gospel. John is telling us that what he has recorded is nothing in comparison with all the wonders that Jesus actually did while He walked the Earth.
How was it that mighty miracles flowed through Jesus like a river? The answer is simple; Jesus lived life like it was intended by God: Surrendered to His Father.
You and I have the same choice to make; will I serve me or will I serve Heavenly Father?
The answer for us should be very easy. The Scripture reveals that we were created for the glory of God! (Rev. 4:11) Any attempt to serve self is vain and worthless.
May the Lord help us to make the only wise choice each and every day : Surrender to Jesus!
