NEW LIVES FOR OLD

NEW LIVES FOR OLD.png
God creates out of nothing. Wonderful, you say. Yes, to be sure, but He does what is still more wonderful: He makes saints out of sinners.
— Soren Kierkegaard

2 Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

One of the surest indications that a person is truly born again, is change. Before we are born again, we want everything in our lives to be manageable. This is perhaps the surest sign that a person is not born again. A born again person is no longer the manager of their own life. When the new management comes in, Father, Son and Holy Spirit have the right to change everything; and They most certainly do! The change is not complete overnight, but it has begun. There are non-stop shades of change for your entire life span on Earth. Spiritual renovation is a life-long process. Sometimes it can seem like the work has come to a standstill, but it has not. What Jesus, the all wise master-builder starts, He finishes! (Php. 1:6)

This kind of change involves pain, but it never costs what it's worth! The greatest eternal reward comes to those who yield to constant change. God's ultimate goal for you and I, is to be conformed into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. (Rom. 8:29) If we just trust our lives to the Change-maker, we will experience all things becoming new! Jesus Christ gives new lives for old! This change will do you good, now and forever!

Seven years of drug and alcohol addiction were broken in my life, because I cried out to the Lord these simple words, "Jesus, please help me!" (Acts 20:21) I awoke the next day to a brand new life! I woke this morning to a brand new day filled with anticipation of the new things the Lord is doing in my life! Since February 22, 1980, I continue to love the changes Jesus makes in my life!

Rev. 21:5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

Do you know and enjoy this new life in Christ? If not, are you ready for the ultimate change?

Every blessing!
