FACING THE WIND WITH THE WIN
“I saw a little bird recently flying high in the sky with strong winds blowing against it. I said to the Lord, “How can that small bird fly against those fierce winds?” The Lord said, “They were born that way. They were created to fly in winds of adversity. And so are you.””
Luk 22:31 And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift [you] as wheat. 32 "But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to [Me], strengthen your brethren.”
Satan wants to sift you..like wheat. Sift meaning, to blow a current of air through (grain) in order to remove the chaff. Jesus did not say, “But I won’t let him do that to you Peter!” No, Jesus told him that He had prayed that his faith would not fail! Peter could not lose to the enemy because his victory was secured by his faith in Jesus Christ and Jesus made sure and prayed sure that, that faith would not fail! This our victory, even our faith! (1Jn. 5:4)
JESUS YOUR MY BEGINNING AND MY ENDING
WHEN IT LOOKS LIKE I’M LOSING I’M STILL WINNING
Beloved, there was never a time when Jesus was losing, not even when He hung, bled and died on that old cross! “How can you say that,” you ask? Because even the grave could not defeat Him and LOVE can never fail! (1Cor. 13:8) If you are lover and follower of Jesus, you can fully expect the tempestuous wind of Satan to blow against your life. You can face the worst wind he has and say, ”Is that all you’ve got?” Because, in Christ, you can absolutely never, ever lose! Jesus ALWAYS causes us to triumph! (2Cor. 2:14) So dear reader, stare down the Devil’s most violent wind, with Jesus most powerful WIN! The storm will blow itself out and you will remain standing as an invincible child of the Most High God! Let Hell do its worst, through it all, you are more than a conqueror! Because Jesus won, you win! HALLELUJAH!!
