PRAYING THROUGH
“It is only when the whole heart is gripped with the passion of prayer that the life giving fire descends, for none but the earnest man gets access to the ear of God.”
Act 2:1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and [one] sat upon each of them.
The disciples had been tarrying for ten days, waiting for the promise of the Father. When their passion, unity and faith reached a crescendo in Heaven’s ear, BOOM! SUDDENLY, the mighty promise broke through! There were tongues of fire because there were hearts on fire! The great breakthrough was that God could hear their cry! They were all in tune, all in agreement, all laser focused on what the Father desired, whatever it was! Everyone rallied in unison and now God would send what He promised! The world has never been the same since that day, 2,000 years ago!
Getting answers to prayer and seeing the miraculous, is the same for us individually. We must rally our whole being together in one accord with God’s will . Our goal must always be the glory of God! When we get His mind and pray His will, then we will have His ear! Beloved, He awaits us today. He is longing to hear our whole-heart cry, longing to answer us in power! He greatly desires to grant our earnest, heartfelt, passionate prayer! The fire in your heart will become so hot, it will set your tongue on fire, then you will pray through and He will hear from Heaven and answer you, SUDDENLY! HALLELUJAH!!
