EMBRACING THE UNKNOWN

The comfort zone is where dreams go to die. Want to live your best life? Leave it.

Mat 4:18 And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. 19 Then He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." 20 They immediately left [their] nets and followed Him.

Here are two men, successful and secure in the only business they ever knew: fishing. Oh sure, they had heard of Jesus of Nazareth. However, they knew nothing of leaving it all behind to follow a man that they really did not even know and to take up an occupation they had no experience with!

Peter and Andrew had no idea that they had been invited to a front row seat to see what it looks like when God walks the Earth! Sure, they could have said, “Pass!” when Jesus said, “Follow me!” Yet something powerfully grabbed their hearts and they left it all to follow Jesus! The world is a far better place when people will simply let go of what they trust and follow Jesus! God is still looking for people that will leave what they know so well, i.e. their comfort zone, to follow Him. True, God doesn't call us all to leave our occupation or town but He has called us all to let go of the familiar and spread the Gospel, whether across the world or maybe just across the street!

THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NOW HIRING. All expenses paid. On the job training and the retirement plan is out of this world! All you have to do is follow Jesus. Start today! Are you available?

Every blessing!
