TROUBLE
“God will not permit any troubles to come upon us, unless He has a specific plan by which great blessing can come out of the difficulty.”
Psa 105:18 They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul
Gen 50:20 "But as for you, you meant evil against me; [but] God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as [it is] this day, to save many people alive.
I am writing with someone in mind this morning. I don’t know that someone by name, I am just all too familiar with your situation. You are very battle weary. You question if you will ever escape the grasp of trouble. You fear that turmoil and adversity have become your lot in life! Let me be quick to interject that I have had plenty of trouble that sprung from my own doing. There are some things we cannot blame on the Devil. However, if you are a true follower of Christ, the Word of God says, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all.” (Ps. 34:19)
Joseph knew his share of troubles. Oh, but read again the story found in Genesis 37-50. Every time I read through it I weep because of the faithfulness of God! Friend, troubled friend. God is writing HIStory with your life. If He has put a dream in your heart of your role in His Kingdom on Earth, He will not fail to bring it to pass, no matter what it may look like at the present, just realize God is putting iron in your soul! Wait on the Lord. Call on the Lord. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat, until He brings it to pass! He will!! If He has said it, He will fulfill it no matter what! Trouble is the badge of those given a promise. The promise may take you through the pit, it might even take you through the prison of sorts, but HE will surely bring you to the palace of His purpose for your life, in His good time! Believe it! HALLELUJAH!
