NEED SOME CHANGE?

Need Some Change?.png
Little men with little minds and little imaginations go through life in little ruts, smugly resisting all the changes which would jar their little worlds.

2Cor. 7:10 For godly sorrow produces repentance [leading] to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. NKJV

There are obviously pulpits where the “R” word is taboo. So, I must preach repentance a little louder! I am convinced that the granting of repentance, is the very foremost gift we can receive! Repentance affects change, necessary change, like nothing else. 2Tim. 2:25(a) if God perhaps will grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth. Repentance is granted by God in order the we may know the truth. It is knowing the truth that comes from continuing in His Word, that makes us true disciples. It is in the knowing of the truth that makes us free. (see John 8:31-32) This freedom affects dramatic and continuing change. This change, always does you good!

If you and I and are going to break free from little mindedness, little imaginations, and the little ruts, (which by the way a rut is a grave with both ends knocked out), we must embrace with thankful hearts, the grant of repentance! Repentance will always bring about abundant life! James tells us that God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6) Humility brings grace, grace grants power and brings about transformation! I cannot speak for you, but I never want to stop this process of change in my life. I want to be like Jesus, so I’ve got to change! The process is not with out pain, but the pain is not without beautiful transformation! Jesus Christ endured the most painful change in history. He left His throne in Glory and came to Earth pay the price for sin, for you, for me! How can I resist the changes He wants to make in me? What say you?

Every blessing!
