GOD IS GOD AND WE ARE NOT
“Great faith is not believing that God will heal, or restore; Great faith is believing that God is God.”
Job 13:15 Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.
Job 23:8 "Look, I go forward, but He is not [there], And backward, but I cannot perceive Him; 9 When He works on the left hand, I cannot behold [Him]; When He turns to the right hand, I cannot see [Him]. 10 But He knows the way that I take; [When] He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold.

Cloudy days are not my favorite, sunny days are. Some days in life, are mostly cloudy with a likelihood of thunderstorms. Yet, have you ever doubted the Sun is still up there even in the rainy season! Of course not! I do believe one good reason for cloudy, even stormy skies, is to remind us in spite of what it looks like, the Sun is still there, it’s not going anywhere and in the same way the Son is not going anywhere either! Jesus is still there, seated at the Father’s right hand! The Holy Spirit is still with you, even when you cannot feel Him near!
It is written, “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Heb. 11:6) Job was not only trusting in a withdrawing God, he was trusting in a killing God! Is it any wonder that Satan hated him? It is any wonder, that God said that there was no man as upright or righteous as Job? (Job 1:8) Be of good cheer if your Father is hard to see or be found at this time in your life! He has simply entrusted you with a trial of your faith! You are going to come forth as gold! (Job 23:10) Count it all joy! (Jas 1:2) Your story is not finished! Just trust Him!
Jas 5:11 Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end [intended by] the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.
