JESUS IS MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR ME!

“The story is told of old imprisoned saint who was persecuted for his faith in Christ. Every morning he was rationed a dry crust of bread and cup of water. His captors could hear him say as he lifted the bread and the cup to the Lord with a grateful heart, “All this and Christ too!”
1Tim 6:6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.
Have you ever heard the saying, “You never know that Jesus is all you need, until Jesus is all you have”? I have had a few opportunities to prove the statement is true. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. Just the Shepherd Himself is truly all we need! He not only gave His life for His sheep, He perpetually gives His life for His sheep! Some have the wrong idea about abundant life. Some believe it has to do with material prosperity. He does prosper us with material things but wealth and things are worthless without knowing Jesus! I have seen many wealthy, empty and aimless people! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life!” (Jn. 14:6) Jesus is the life, the abundant life, the fullness of joy, peace and overflowing blessing after blessing! He Himself is all that a heart could long for!
Php 4:11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
I bless God for the precious opportunities I have been afforded in life, to find that Jesus is truly more than enough for me! Don’t get me wrong I enjoy some material thiings. Yet at the end of the day, you can take this whole world but give me Jesus! Can you relate? He loves us! O how He loves us!
