NO POWER TO DEVOUR

NO POWER TO DEVOUR.png
If God declares that all is well, ten thousand devils may declare it to be ill, but we laugh them all to scorn. Blessed be God for a faith which enables us to believe God when the creatures contradict Him.

1Pet 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

I am not much of a TV viewer but, I do like a good documentary. For a couple of months I have been watching a series called, “Alone” on The History Channel. If you have seen it, you know the contestants are all alone with lions and tigers and bears, o my no, not tigers. On one episode, I saw a Grizzly bear put a man up a tree. On another episode, I saw a man intimidate Grizzly and with a loud shout, he put that big ole bear to flight!

Col 2:15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

Satan has the power to roar against a child of God but his power to devour us has been destroyed by the Cross of Christ! However, if you are intimidated by the devil, he we certainly chase you roaring louder and louder. If you submit to God, put your trust in Jesus, stand your ground, and let out a mighty roar of resistance, he will flee in terror of you! (James 4:7) Friend, its all about who you believe and obey! Jesus is far greater! Now, let the devil know Who you believe and Whose you are and put the devil in his place; under your feet!

Every blessing!
