LET THE RIVER FLOW
“Jesus died so that we could spend an eternity with Him in Heaven, and so that we could live with His Spirit operating inside of us on the earth. His sacrifice did more than forgive you, it empowered you.”
Jhn 7:37 On the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. 38 "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
Here Jesus cried out to the thirsting ones. He tells them that they can drink Him into to their lives, if they thirst for Him! Further, if they will believe in Him the way the scripture declares Him, the mighty river of God’s power will flow through their innermost being! Jesus is the river of LOVE and the river of LIFE! The best that you and I can do, is be vessels of honor meet for the Master’s use. (2Tim. 2:21) Set apart to Him for His glory alone. He will fill us and He will flow through us. The work we do is to believe! (John 6:29) Signs follow them that believe! (Mark 16:17) Mighty rivers of God’s power flow through them that believe!
Recently, I preached on the power of the blood of Jesus in an Islamic nation, via the internet. A lady was instantly healed from a stomach disorder and the pain left her body! A man testified that he had been bound by a demonic spirit for 4 years. When he heard of the power of Christ’s blood, he was instantly set free! 9 precious souls turned to Christ for salvation and have been baptized! I simply claimed and believed the scripture, “He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions.” (Ps. 107:20) If someone tells you this river is not for today, then they simply do not believe in Jesus according to the Scripture! The world is longing and waiting for you and I to lay hold of this marvelous promise and let the Jesus river flow!
